About us

Paquet Yarns is nestled in the beautiful village of Paquetville in New Brunswick. The company has been in the woolen yarn and woven fabric business since 1996.The plant has since forayed and diversified in the manufacture of yarns and woven fabrics using, wool ,Mohair,nomex ,Nylon, polyester, Acrylic, polypropylene, viscose, recyled wool and blended fibers.

Good business relationship built up with trust has translated into a healthy customer base for niche markets for single and plied yarns throughout Canada and the United States. Spun yarns are woven on Dornier looms.

The range of single yarn count ranges from 0.5 run (1.4 Worsted) to 4.2 run (12worsted).Quality spun yarns are used in socks gloves, blankets, sweaters and cloth for partition paneling. We also have an open end line to process acrylic, wool blends, ingeo, Kevlar and yarn for technical textiles.

Future Expansion

The company is looking into new areas of trading and manufacture of eco friendly yarns, technical textiles. There are plans to develop bamboo, tencel, ingeo and cashmere fibers. The company is also considering developing ecofriendly soft blankets and throws.

Our Vision

We will endeavor to triple the turnover by 2011, by strengthening our core competencies in the manufacture of woolen yarns and fabrics. We intend to diversify into new frontiers in the area of Eco-friendly yarns and fabrics.
